Evangelist Earl Ankrom - Street Preacher!

We've had the privilage of having Brother Earl Ankrom at our church this week and it has been a real blessing! This guy is on fire and if you're not careful, being around him will cause you to catch it too.

We've had a lot of guest preachers come through, but not too many are fired up like this guy. Sometimes I think that the people who truly recognize what they were saved out of are the ones who are truly grateful. Would to God we had more Earl Ankroms! AMEN! AMEN!! AMEN!!!

Earl has changed quite a bit since I lived with him and his family back in the late 80's.

All I can say about him now is, he speaks from the heart and life experiance, experiance that I highly doubt most people know about.

I am proud of him, and still consider him a best friend.

This is potentially one of the most hateful blogs I have ever read. As a Divinity School student, to even imagine that this author associates himself with Christ and claims to be doing his work is a very, very depressing thing.

David Scott,
I'm not polished on blog use but I have a couple questions...
1. I notice you are a doc mgmt software specialist and I think that's neat. But when I click on the "About YF" I just see a whole bunch of stuff that doesn't seem to connect with what I think a YF description might be like.
2. What gives with all the comment and post stuffers? In an email to you, I've suggested you and I discuss beginning a topic(s) that connect technology and scripture that is God honoring and certainly 'strengthening the saints' credible.

In response to the Divinity School student, I have to say that I'm having a hard time finding the hatefulness. Ultimate Frisbee isn't very hateful. Saying that smoking is bad isn't hateful. We need some examples big guy.

Why do you even link to Seanpayne? The guy is a terrible preacher, full of pride and arrogance and preaches nothing but Lordship Salvation. Read his testimony. He got saved very young after answering an altar call, but makes every effort to explain how he didn't actually get saved until he read Ray Comfort's rubbish. His testimony has nothing to do with Christ and His grace. It's a testimony of how Sean Payne came to love Ray Comfort and embrace his false doctrine.

Wow this blog is a great find!

It's always good to locate a trove of new material ideas for my own particular take on fundamentalism. :)

I am always searching for meaning in my beliefs which is very difficult due to all the technology. I came across a post, The First Question, which asked, "What is the first question in the Bible?

Before man was created, there were no questions. The first occurs in the Garden of Eden. The man and Eve ate of the forbidden fruit. G-d calls out to them, “Where are you?”

This post gave me a lot to think about it can be found at http://projectshalom2.org/StoryTour

The first question is asked by Satan. He says "Yea, Hath God said"
